I'm drunk right now. Just had two Buillet Rye Whiskey on the rocks and now I'm winding down at Residence. I'm sitting with my LinkedIn Asian American Bay Area Tech guy host's apartment and we are talking art, creativity, technology and all the Asian-ass people here in the Bay who need to be supporting Asian Americans in the creative arts.

I had the most amazing time hosting the first ever standup comedy fundraiser for the Chinese Historical Society of America in SF Chinatown. Amazing crowd of Asian Americans and Board members.  Hats off to Danielle Lam, current Board member, and Executive Director Sue Lee for having the idea to reach out to younger folks through a comedy show.

And just by pure coincidence, Angry Asian Man himself Phil Yu and his family were hanging out in SF and we got an Asian American impromptu summit. The amazingness of of chatting about Chinese American history, Asian Americanosity and the hella Asian Bay Area tech culture has made for some awesome ideas to come out of this.  There will be big things that we are gonna do for the Bay Area.  It's gonna be where community, arts and tech meet. :-)  (that deserved a straight up text message happy face)  More fun to come. At the very least, the first-ever all Asian American female standup comedy tour that I co-produce, Dis/orient/ed Comedy, will be coming to the East Bay in August for some more Yay Area hilarity.

Aaaah. I think I've found a new home.

Jenny Yang hosting the first-ever "Lost in Translation" comedy night for the Chinese Historical Society of America (CHSA) in San Francisco Chinatown.  Apparently she performed in a Chinese restaurant fish tank. 9.99 per Jenny pound.
